Verify your own domain

Add the DNS records and check them.

  1. Go to Settings → Sending and use Add a sending domain. Many people use a subdomain such as mail.yourshop.cz.
  2. The page shows a few DNS records (their type, name and value). Copy each one into your domain's DNS settings, at the company where you bought the domain or that hosts your website.
  3. Back in 404 Emails, press Check verification. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to appear.
  4. When the domain shows Verified, you can send from it.

Some DNS providers add your domain to the end of the record name automatically. If verification keeps failing, check that the name wasn't doubled (mail.yourshop.cz.yourshop.cz).
