Wix

Your Wix form sends sign-ups to 404 Emails through a short piece of backend code (Velo). The API key stays in Wix's Secrets Manager.

1. In 404 Emails, publish a form under Signup forms, then open Settings → Integrations → Wix and choose it.
2. Create an API key with the View and submit signup forms permission on the API keys page - copy it straight away, it's shown once.
3. In your Wix dashboard, store the key in the Secrets Manager under the name shown on the Wix page.
4. In the Wix Editor, turn on Dev Mode and add the backend code from the Wix page, matching the field names to your Wix form.
5. Add an unchecked newsletter checkbox to your Wix form with the same wording as your 404 Emails form, then publish and test.

Consent is recorded only when the visitor ticks the checkbox themselves.
